I met April before she graduated from High School. I knew from the moment that I met her that she was going to do something big and I was not wrong. April is the co-owner of Beauty and the Brows in Knoxville, TN.
April and Allison Huebner opened the first Brow Salon in Knoxville and is still the most successful. She has also created a private label of brow products. April went to Beauty School at Tennessee School of Beauty and became a cosmetologist. She graduated and got a job as a stylist and realized that doing hair was not exactly what she wanted to do. She was moved into a Brow Artist position at Ulta and her career took off from there. Her and her work bestie decided that after two years, she was ready to open her own salon.
They opened a suite and then came Beauty and the Brows. They have built very successful careers as brow artists and I could not be more proud of the space that they have created in the industry!
April is the child of a single father with 6 children. Her humble beginnings are such a big part of her story make this success for her even more special. Her dad gave her a choice between a car or a kit to pay for her beauty school, and she chose beauty school. Her tenacity is unmatched. April is such an inspiration and I am so thankful that I get to know her.
